Briarwoods is a quiet and friendly community located in northern Pasco County Florida, just south of the Hernando County line and just east of the sleepy Gulf Coast fishing village of Aripeka.
As part of the Florida “Nature Coast”, Briarwoods has the perfect mix of natural beauty and convenience. Bordered by woodland nature preserves to the north and west, Florida wildlife is easily spotted while strolling our quiet streets. Two community parks which are maintained by the Briarwoods Homeowners Association are located within the community for use by our residents. The parks have large ponds which attract egrets, waterfowl, and other aquatic wildlife.
With the Spring Hill area of Hernando County to the north and the towns of Hudson, Port Richey, and New Port Richey to the south, Briarwoods has plenty of convenient shopping and dining within a few minutes drive. Travel north on US 19 to Spring Hill and you’ll find almost every major restaurant chain and shopping outlet 5 minutes away. Travel south on US 19 toward Hudson and Port Richey and you’ll find similar shopping and dining. Travel east on County Line Road to connect to the Suncoast Parkway for a fast commute to the Tampa International Airport.
